Founded in 2011, Montaigne Design is an award-winning boutique hospitality design practice led by founder Cathy Wang who has created a signature niche in the worlds of luxury hotel, resort and residential, exclusive private club design with their bespoke approach to design uniquely tailored to each client and their story. Good design is about helping clients meet their needs and objectives. It is also about the way people feel when they experience it, a sense of meaning, connection and belonging.

MD is headquartered in Shanghai with partners in Paris and London. With the leadership of Cathy Wang, the founder and creative director, MD works very closely with the clients to see and meet the real demands and expectations.  Based on fully understanding the location, functionality and budget, MD respect market-oriented principles of design to create a space with a unique experience, by integrating the local culture into the design solutions.
